Pancho Campo


A former tennis professional who coached top players in the ATP Tour. He was the captain of the Olympic Team of Chile at the Barcelona Olympic Games of 1992. Pancho worked for several years as the Director of the Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy in different countries.

In 1993 H.H. the Emir of Qatar hired him as Director of Tennis to manage the National Teams of the Qatar Tennis Federation. He was also also in charge of looking after the tennis career of the current Emir, Sheikh Tamim al Thani. Pancho's results have been the best in the history of tennis of the Gulf taking the team of Qatar to win Davis Cup in Group III and almost every regional title.

In 2003, driven by his long time passion for wine Pancho created The Wine Academy of Spain. In 2008 he was the first Spaniard to obtain the prestigious Master of Wine title. Founder of the largest summits of the industry known as Winefuture, held in Rioja in 2009 and Hong Kong in 2011 where the leading names of the industry got together.

His interest in the environment lead him to found the World Conference on Climate Change & Wine in 2006, featuring Al Gore and Kofi Annan amongst many other experts in this field. He was personally trained by Al Gore in Seville and Amsterdam to become Advisory Board Member of The Climate Reality Project. He is also the founder of Future Economy Barcelona 2012.

Pancho Campo is an extremely charismatic and entertaining speaker who engages the audience with a powerful presence on stage and estate of the art audio-visual presentations. He is also the author of the book "Inspírate" published by Penguin Random House.
