Upon retiring from tennis, former Olympic Captain in 1992 Barcelona and tennis professional in the ATP, Pancho Campo founded Chrand Marketing & Events: a mega events management company.
This stage of his career led him to organize globally recognized events such as the Davis Cup, the Pro Beach Soccer Tour as well as tournaments with recognized athletes such as Andre Agassi, Stefan Edberg and Eric Cantona. He then decided to expand his company into the music industry, promoting concerts with artists such as Sting, Pink Floyd and Enrique Iglesias.
Pancho has organized conferences with global leaders such as former President Barack Obama, Vice President Al Gore and the Secretary General of the United Nations, Kofi Annan. Due to his dedication climate change and conferences, he was then trained by Vice President Al Gore who helped him as well as took part in many of Pancho's events.
His passion for the wine industry encouraged him to open The Wine Academy of Spain, the Spanish Wine Experience and to further his knowledge in climate change and its impacts in the given sector.
Pancho studied medicine with the intention to become an MD, however, we never managed to finish his studies. He then went on to obtain an MBA - Masters of Business Administration through the Spanish university Universidad Juan Carlos I. He used his skills and qualifications to develop his knowledge in marketing, general sports psychology as well as for professionals.
He was recognized as the first Professional Master by the International Tennis Coaches Program at the Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy. He also became the first Spanish Master of Wine and recently became a certified PADI Master Scuba Diver.
Pancho also wrote a book called "ínspirate", about how to overcome challenges, manage stress and maintain motivation. The book was published by Penguin Random House.
Currently, Pancho works with The American College in Spain and Florida International University - Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management, helping them design a new mega events management course.
